Since the super bowl is this weekend, I thought I should make a post about the last blue friday in Seattle. Everywhere you go, 12 flags are hung over every business and almost every house. Even in apartment buildings people are sporting them on their windows and balconies. Everyone is wearing their memorbilia, and even the water runs blue!
You can just feel the hum of energy in the city! Who are you rooting for?
It took me a second to understand. I'm having a thing at my place, but I didn't even know who else was playing. I've only heard about the deflated football drama. Lol!
ReplyDeleteHaha yes, I've been hearing a lot about that too.
DeleteThat blue water is very cool!
ReplyDeleteYes. Very. But makes me wonder how they're going to return it back to normal?
DeleteNot being a football fan in the least, I couldn't care who wins, tbh. I remember getting caught in one of the Patriots' victory parades in Boston when I was in college, though. I was trying to get to class and the cops wouldn't let me cross the street lol
ReplyDeleteHaha that's so funny! I'm not to into football, but when the city is all abuzz, it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement :)
DeleteGorgeous picture. We live so off in our own world that I didn't even know it was the super-bowl this weekend. *gasp* I know, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Haha no worries! I usually don't remember the super bowl either. But this year it's hard to miss considering the whole city is dressed up for it.
