Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

Last year Michael and I went pumpkin picking and went through a corn maze. It was such good fun we decided to do it this year and make a tradition out of it.

Michael picked out a white pumpkin this year while I picked out orange ones for Blaire and I.

The weather unfortunately was very unpredictable, going from dry to pouring down rain the next. Nonetheless we stuck it out and waited for it to past.

After getting all our pumpkins we decided to treat ourselves with some kettle corn and hot spiced apple cider.

Then it was off to the corn/sunflower maze!

All in all it was fun and relaxing way to spend our Saturday. If you haven't been pumpkin picking yet, I recommend doing so before the season ends!

  1. Pumpkins! I did pick up pumpkins this year. A small one for inside and a bigger one for outside. ^_^ Haven't been to a corn maze in about 8 years! So cloudy there! It's been really cloudy and rainy here so far this fall. Almost every day! I haven't gotten to dig out my longer sleeves yet though.

    1. Oh fun! Are you going to carve your pumpkins? Yeah corn mazes are fun! I know, fall has begun for us too so I had to buy new sweaters and reorganize my closet! I like fall though. Winter is what I have a problem with!

    2. You know, I have never carved a pumpkin! I just draw faces on mine. Or just let them sit there plain. ^^ I like winter, but if I ever experienced a real, northern winter, I probably wouldn't.

  2. Those clouds look really ominous. But hot spiced cider makes up for a lot of things. Reminds me that I want cider donuts now.
