Last Mariner's Game & Fall Anticipation

Yesterday for work, my company went to the Mariner's game. Upon leaving I realized that this would probably be the last game this summer for me. As the weekend approaches, so does a cold front along with some showers. Slowly the rain is making a comeback to Seattle. I hate to say it, but I think yesterday was the last eighty degree day of the year. On the plus side, my cat will love the colder weather.

How do I feel about the colder weather? Let's just say I'm going to miss the heat. To make up for it, I will attempt to be more festive during fall now that Michael and I have more room. Already the tips of the trees are already starting to show signs of autmun and their are pumpkin flavored beverages  on sale at the stores. Before we know it, fall will be here. However, I am excited to get a Christmas tree this year. A real live one, since I've always grown up with the faux tree. At least that is something to look forward to!

  1. We also have other fun things to look forward to! Candle lighting, warm fuzzy blankets, hot cocoa, hot tea, pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, warm dinners like soups and stews, finding a coffee shop with a fire place, deep bold red wines, and watching all the leaves turn so beautiful! Autumn is splendid. Winter is not. :-) the M's game looked fun... but let me tell ya, we have had plenty of 80 degree days in Sept. so don't fret, we might get ONE more :-p

    1. So this week I've gotten three mosquito bites. Yesterday night was right on the face! If cooler weather means no bites, then I guess I can be excited about the change in season!

  2. I love the temperature you have up there! Maybe not all the rain, but I do love rain. ^_^

Wait, is it really time for pumpkin flavored stuff?! It seems so early. I do love the pumpkin spice frappucino...You know, I don't think our trees started turning until the end of October last year. I was starting to think it would never happen!

    1. Yeah in California, it's the same way. Leaves don't change until October! Completely different in Washington with the cooler weather. I love pumpkin spice latte's though :) So I guess I can look forward to that!
